Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Order information: your email address, business name, type, state, headcount, the answers on the order form, the owner's name and title, and any notes you type. This is what the handbook is built from.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store the Stripe checkout session and subscription identifiers to match payments to orders.
• Technical information: IP address (rate limiting and abuse prevention) and standard server logs.

How we use it

To generate and deliver your handbook, send annual refresh reminders if you subscribed, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your submissions to train AI models. The AI providers that process your inputs (Cloudflare Workers AI and, if enabled, Anthropic) are bound by agreements that prohibit training on customer data.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, storage and AI generation), Anthropic (AI generation, if enabled), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Retention

Orders and generated handbooks are retained so that you can retrieve them from your permanent link. Request deletion at any time by emailing support@gethandbookhq.com from the order email address; we will delete the order within 30 days, after which the link will no longer work.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Email us and we will honor verified requests.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Stripe may set cookies on its checkout pages under its own policy.
